β€οΈ SHOCKS-Dating
Build Relationships. Go on Dates. Create Your Story.
SHOCKS-Dating is a fully configurable relationship and dating system designed to bring meaningful social gameplay to your FiveM server.
Players can meet partners, build relationships, plan dates, earn relationship XP, unlock new experiences, exchange gifts and progress together through a persistent relationship system.
With a modern custom MDT interface, server-side validation and persistent SQL data, every relationship becomes part of the player's ongoing character story.
π Complete Relationship System
Create persistent relationships between players or configurable NPC partners.
Every relationship tracks its own progression, history, XP, date count, achievements and other relationship statistics.
Players can continue dating the same partner over time, with each completed date contributing toward relationship progression.
Relationship progression
Relationships progress through 10 levels, with the maximum relationship level requiring 10 completed dates with the same partner.
XP can be earned from activities, gifts and completed dates while the server validates progression to prevent clients from bypassing the relationship system.
π Plan & Start Your Dates
Players have a dedicated Plan Date tab inside the MDT where they can choose exactly how their next date will work.
Choose a destination
Locations are fully configurable and can unlock progressively as the relationship develops.
Level 0 can include multiple starter destinations, allowing players to go on their first date immediately.
Examples include:
- π Beach
- π‘ Pier
- π³ Park
- β Coffee Shop
- π½οΈ Restaurants
- π³ Bowling
- π¬ Cinema
- π Scenic locations
- ποΈ Wilderness locations
Every location can have its own requirements, XP rewards, interaction settings and gameplay behaviour.
Choose how long to stay
Timed destinations allow players to choose how long they want to spend in the area.
The required stay duration is validated by the server and displayed directly in the MDT before the date begins.
This makes short casual dates and longer relationship-building dates possible using the same system.
β€οΈ Unlimited Dates
There is no artificial limit on how many dates a couple can have.
After completing a date:
Finish Date β Relationship Refresh β Plan Another Date
Players can immediately start another date with the same partner.
Each date is recorded separately so previous dates are never overwritten.
π Persistent Date History
Every completed date is stored independently in SQL.
Players can review their relationship history and see previous dates without losing older records when a new date is completed.
This creates a genuine long-term relationship progression system rather than simply tracking a single active date.
π MDT Gift System
Players can send gifts directly through the Dating MDT.
How gifting works
Sender
- Open the Gifts section.
- Choose a gift from the configurable gift catalogue.
- Pay for the gift using cash.
- Add an optional message.
- Send the gift to their partner.
Recipient
The gift appears on their MDT with:
- Sender
- Gift item
- Price
- Message
- Gift information
The recipient can then:
β Accept Gift
The configured item is added to their inventory.
β Deny Gift
The gift is declined without delivering the item.
Gift purchases, delivery and acceptance are validated server-side to prevent duplicate claims or client-side manipulation.
π Achievements & Relationship Progression
The system supports relationship achievements, date milestones, streaks and progression rewards.
Servers can configure:
- XP rewards
- Level requirements
- Date requirements
- Gift XP
- Activity rewards
- Completion bonuses
- Streak bonuses
- Achievement conditions
This gives server owners complete control over how quickly relationships progress.
π§βπ€βπ§ Player-to-Player Dating
Players can invite other players to go on a date.
The invitation system supports a synchronized two-player session so both participants share the same relationship and active-date state.
Both players receive synchronized updates throughout the date.
π© NPC Dating Partners
Servers can also configure NPC relationship partners.
NPC partners use the same relationship and dating system as player relationships, allowing servers to create story-based or single-player dating experiences without requiring a second player.
NPC partners can have their own:
- Name
- Model
- Location
- Unlock level
- Relationship
- Date interactions
π Destination Objectives
Dates can use configurable objectives such as:
Stay in Area
Players must remain inside the destination for the configured amount of time.
Travel to Location
Players must reach the configured destination.
Activity Completion
Dates can include activities that must be completed before the route progresses.
These objectives are validated server-side using player position and session state.
π± Modern Custom MDT
SHOCKS-Dating includes a custom relationship MDT designed specifically for the system.
The MDT provides access to:
- Current Date
- Plan Date
- Relationship
- Date History
- Gifts
- Achievements
- Progression
- Partner information
The interface automatically refreshes when relationship data, date state, XP or gift status changes.
π Server-Side Validation
Important relationship actions are validated by the server rather than trusting the NUI.
This includes:
- Date creation
- Destination selection
- Date duration
- Date completion
- XP rewards
- Relationship progression
- Gift purchases
- Gift acceptance
- Inventory rewards
- Relationship state
This helps protect the system against common client-side exploitation and accidental duplicate rewards.
π οΈ Highly Configurable
Almost every major gameplay element can be configured.
Configure:
- Date locations
- Location unlock levels
- Date durations
- XP rewards
- Relationship levels
- Date requirements
- Gift catalogue
- Gift prices
- Gift unlock levels
- Achievement rewards
- Streak bonuses
- Date activities
- NPC partners
- Interaction settings
- Debug tools
- MDT behaviour
- Framework/inventory integration
This makes SHOCKS-Dating suitable for casual RP servers as well as servers wanting a deeper relationship progression system.
π§ͺ Developer & Debug Tools
SHOCKS-Dating includes a dedicated development test system to make configuration and testing easier.
The debug tools can simulate relationship activity, dates, XP, NPC partners and date completion without requiring another player.
This makes development considerably easier while building or testing a server.
πΎ Persistent SQL Storage
Relationship information is stored persistently using SQL.
This includes relationship data and date history so progress survives:
- Resource restarts
- Server restarts
- Player reconnects
- Long periods between dates
π Framework Support
Designed to support:
- QBCore
- Qbox
- oxmysql
- ox_inventory
- qb-inventory
- ox_lib
The system also supports player and NPC dating experiences through the same relationship engine.
